Boston: the good, the great and the gorgeous

Boston lives up to all my expectations.

it’s picturesque, quaint, historical and bustling–all in one.  This is our second day here and we’ve got 2 full days to go. So far this place has had the best eats of our trip. Today for lunch we went into a swanky hotel restaurant with a cantankerous Violet for lunch of Boston Cream Pie (amazing) and something called “Schrod” ( i think.) Anyway–amazing. Tomorrow we’re going to hit some seafood places and I plan on making chicken soup with dumplings and apple pie for our couchsurfing hosts.

I’m currently in the hallowed halls of the boston public library which is normally quiet but now is being inundated by the echoing shrieks and laughter of a baby girl i may or may not know.
